Borrowed a painting book in library this afternoon and was thus motivated to paint at home, digitally. Exercising a process of mindless brushstroke and color selection with a desperate attempt to mimicking the lighting setup from previous class portrait session, imaginary friend no.1 was created before i know it.
Had a goal of seeing and applying rich values of color to define the form and direction of light but in the end found myself relied too much on dodge, burn and curves. Choosing the correct values of color is still difficult for me. I hope i can reach my renaissance soon :[
